Peace is a blessing, but accidents are sometimes inevitable. Taiwan Red Cross has always adhered to the principles of offering timely assistance and helping the starving but not the poor. When sudden and unanticipated events occur, TRC is here to offer timely assistance to families that may have abruptly lost their source of income, help them meet urgent needs, and give them hope to start anew.

Since 2015, TRC and Shin Yeh Co., Ltd. have been working together in a charity sale of New Year dishes to provide support for urgent-needs families, warming their winter. Staffs and volunteers from TRC Headquarters and branch offices across Taiwan offered pertinent assistance in the form of Lunar New Year dishes or scholarships to encourage these families to continue to stay optimistic in the face of hardship.
