Your donation to the Taiwan Red Cross will be used to: ◎ Promote the Red Cross Movement- Donations will be put towards upholding the spirit of love, humanity, volunteerism; disseminating international humanitarian law and knowledge of the Red Cross Movement; promoting basic life-saving first aid and water safety knowledge; and supporting our volunteers who exemplify the humanitarian spirit and work to provide safety for others. ◎Social aid relief- Provide disadvantaged families or individuals with care services and timely assistance to alleviate the burden of living day-to-day, so that they may direct their time and energy towards education or work. ◎Domestic disaster relief- Build up public disaster prevention knowledge to reduce the occurrence of disasters and subsequent losses; fortify domestic disaster mitigation, preparedness and response energy; assemble a comprehensive disaster and medical response volunteer team to provide timely response in the event of a disaster. ◎International disaster relief- Convey the love of the Taiwanese people by offering prompt assistance and aid in the event of a natural disaster or major humanitarian event.
